What to expect on a Sunday morning

Typically along with a major part of church history we practice a liturgical way of worship. While we believe the spirit of God is not limited to a specific way of worship, we also believe that the word of God teaches us to worship in spirit and in truth. So here is how a normal Sunday morning service would be held.

9:15 – 9:30 People start arriving going into church, and quietly finding there seats (there is often a few words of greeting and blessing as people come in) 9:30 – 9:50 The moderator goes to the front and starts the service along with a few words of blessing. Then the song leader leads the congregation in a few songs. 9:50 – 10:00 devotions. 10:00 -10:30 Sunday school. 10:30 – 11:30 main message. 11:30 -11:45 testimonies, prayer request, closing comments, and benediction. While this gives you a bit of an outline of the schedule of our service often the times are a bit different every service, and we allow the spirit of God to have freedom as we do not formalize things exactly.
